Work with us
If you want to help build this, please come in.
Causelist is a small project trying to do something useful. If any part of this resonates with you, write to me. I read everything.
The honest version
Right now Causelist is just me, plus a few hundred lawyers in Delhi who actually use it. I built the whole thing on my own over the last few months. Frontend, backend, design, copy, all of it. It works. It is growing. It is still very early.
This is early, so there's no fixed package or job description. Some collaborations here might be short and paid (a few interns posting court updates, for example). Some are longer and structured around shared interest. Some might grow into more. I'm open to a real conversation about any of it.
What I can offer either way is something real to work on, ownership of whatever you choose to build, and a person at the other end who responds.
Where help is welcome
Engineering
Front-end, back-end, mobile, infra. The whole stack is web (Supabase, vanilla JS, PWA). Real-time matters here, performance matters even more.
Design
Product design, motion, brand. Lawyers use this in court, on cheap phones, with bad signal. Beauty has to survive constraints.
Legal research and writing
If you are a lawyer or law student who can write clearly about how courts actually work, there is plenty to do.
Growth and community
Helping more lawyers find Causelist, in a way that respects them. No spam, no growth hacks that feel cheap.
Partnerships
Bar associations, law firms, foundations, research bodies. If you have a bridge to one of these, that helps a lot.
Something else
If you don't fit any of these and still want to help, please write in anyway. Tell me what you'd like to do.
