One sentence
Causelist is a free, public-interest project that gives Delhi's lawyers real-time updates from inside the courtroom, posted by the people already there.
Short paragraph
Causelist is a public-interest project that makes real-time court information accessible to lawyers in Delhi. Someone inside a courtroom can post a one-tap update, court started, lunch break, matter called, and everyone following that court sees it instantly. It covers Delhi High Court and the major district court complexes, and is free and invite-only for lawyers. Causelist is now also collaborating with law firms to build private, custom court-tracking systems for their teams. It was built by a final-year law student at NLU Lucknow and is supported by a grant from Emergent Ventures at George Mason University.
